The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.
Deana L Leggett, age 64, passed away on September 14, 2018. She was a resident of Colorado for 25 years and was formerly a resident of Nevada, Arkansas, and Texas. She was a loving mother, sibling, and friend to anyone who knew her. She was so loved by all that she will be dearly missed.
Deana was born on October 27, 1954 to Ruben Dean Richardson and Mary Maxine Richardson (Wilson) in Houston, Texas.
Deana was fond of gardening and the beauty of nature. She also enjoyed crafts and the joy of family. She had an appreciation for her pets and their loving company.
She is survived by her daughter, Jessica Leggett; and her siblings: Kitti Titus, Pamela Hamlett, Gary Richardson, and Susan Larson. She was preceded in death by her son, Billy Leggett.
Visitation will be held in loving memory of the life of Deana from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., followed by a funeral service, on September 20, 2018 at Shrine of Remembrance “America the Beautiful” Chapel, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd. Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910.
If tears could build a stairway, and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to Heaven and bring you home again.
